Hello sweet angels,
March at Loohoo is… BUSY. In the best way. We’ve got a solo art show, a surrealist workshop, a concert for your tender hearts, a Pussy Power Market, and a product that’s basically self‑care in silicone. Let’s dive in!
Opening Night: Friday March 6th, 6–8:30 PM
Nire’s work wanders through wherever, it is intuitive, emotional, and deeply human. Her practice is rooted in crucial self-understanding and acceptance. This showcase brings together two major series from her 2010s:
Creature of Habit: 430 illustrations capturing the frustration of battling executive dysfunction, addiction, and just surviving the days
Cave Paintings: nonlinear, scattered, and intuitive works where even the hanging orientation is up for interpretation, meaning there are 4 ways to view each piece

CAVE PAINTING! A Workshop with Nire
March 12 · 6:30–8:30 PM · 1380 Queen St W
A hands‑on night of abstract surrealism. Learn intuitive mark‑making, tap into your subconscious, and improvise your way from empty page to finished painting. All skill levels welcome, all materials provided. Tickets are $25 and you can sign up here!
Nire Nah: Songs for Soft Hearts and Busy Brains

Pussy Power Market
March 14+15 · 11AM–6PM · Loohoo
A two‑day celebration of bustling love, sex positivity, and being fully yourself. Expect soft, cheeky and empowering energy all weekend! We’re featuring artists, makers, and small businesses creating work that celebrates bodies, pleasure, confidence, and of course, feeling good in who you are. RSVP here! March is my (Lindsay’s) birthday month!
It’s also Women’s Month! If you’ve been following along on socials, you know it’s been a hell of a time at Loohoo. For my birthday, I would like peace and security. Keep shopping the cute things, talking about the shop, joining our events, sharing feedback with me, writing cute reviews, and all of the things. Pussy Power Market is during my birthday weekend and it will be one year since I started the markets here at Loohoo! Come by and celebrate with us 🙂
PS: I just realized that 4/20 is our two year anniversary which means I will start experiencing the third year of the shop and then the lease here will be over next year. Who knowsss what iteration Loohoo will take on from there. So don’t take this specific space for granted lmao, every moment is precious T_T Welp, here we live, let’s see how it goes!
