Hello angels,

My beautiful baby shop is turning TWO YEARS OLD on 4/20 and we’re celebrating with another STONER GIRL CULTURE MARKET! Plus we got new sexy things from a new Montreal brand. AND we have had a busy month of workshops and we’ve got a few more coming up!!! And also I want to tell you about our April Artist of the Month, so here we go! Let get into it 💕

Loohoo Stoner Girl Culture Market (2 Year Anniversary!)

April 18 & 19 · 11 AM-6 PM · Loohoo

The Stoner Girl Culture Market is happening across two floors with 13 incredible local makers and vendors through the weekend. Expect ceramics, tarot readings, herbal blends, zines, comix, psychedelic art, handmade jewelry, apothecary goods, self-care decks, upcycled clothing, collage kits, and baked goods from some of the most creative and intentional artists in the city.

Come browse, get a reading, try something new, and help us blow out the candles on two years of weird, beautiful, and silly times. Let’s take pictures together!! Would love to see you this weekend!

Accessibility note:

The market takes place across two levels: a main floor with Loohoo and a few vendors at street level, and a cozy downstairs space where most vendors will be located, accessible by stairs only. While many visitors will enjoy the space, it may not be comfortable for everyone - particularly those with mobility considerations or who find stairs or tight spaces challenging.

Ceramic Workshop: Workshop by Emily Elise

April 30 · 6:30-9 PM · Loohoo

A cozy clay night where you get to make something you’ll actually use. Build your own candle holder or incense burner, play with shapes and textures, and make something a little imperfect and a little perfect at the same time. You make it, we fire it, and you pick it up later and become weirdly attached to it. Sign up here!!

Angela Guest: Dreamers — Solo Exhibition

On view til May 3

This month we have Angela Guest in the space, a fabric artist whose work feels soft, dreamy, and a little bit emotional in the best way.

Clouds drift. Bodies change. Nothing stays the same for long. Things shift, fall apart, and come back together in new forms. How BEAUTIFUL.

Using fabric and scraps, Angela creates pieces that feel alive, a little surreal, and open to interpretation. It’s playful, a bit scattered, and full of feeling. Her practice moves through themes of transformation, shaped by her own life, especially her recent transition into motherhood.

Come check out her large originals on the walls, her $5 hand-sewn cloud magnets, $35 small clouds, $20 art prints, and other small works! She also made this super cool guest book that’s squishy, you should come sign it!
